Project Introduction:
What we’re are doing for the XORN8 Theater Project is first we were split into groups of 3-4 and as a group we have to chooses a client form the California Innocence Project (CIP) website. Then we were able to contact them and schedule an interview with the client of your choice. Our play was verbatim which is were you take the interview that was recorder which was transcribed and we turned it into your play. Why we are doing this project ? This is the second portion of our XONR8 project were the first portion was were we had case files of people who believed that we wrongful convicted of a crime. When we received the case files we had to exam them and see if there was something that stood out like misconduct. Once we were finished we presented it California Innocence Project (CIP). Now we will be making a play based of the interview we conduct.

When practicing we were able to receive feedback that we can apply to our scripts. Once done we were able to perform our plays at the onstage play house.
Reflection on the xonr8 project
The XONR8 Theater was one of my biggest projects I have done at High Tech High Chula Vista. A moment that sums up the project for me would be when we were able to perform our plays at the Onstage Playhouse. I choose this as one moment that sums up the project for me because is was so satisfying seeing all of our hard work, time and effort we all put in to our plays on a stage. Being able to present in front of the California Innocence Project (CIP) was just amazing. Something that I was able to contribute to the project was helping whatever help was needed. For example, I was in 1-2 other plays that were not my own. They need someone to be in their , and me being the type of person that when you need someone to step up to the plate I am right there I did just that. I acted in their plays and I had a blast I was also able to apply this within my own group. For example, when we really need to sit down and get work done I was helping and supporting all of my group members. Something that I am most proud of while working on this project was knowing that all of our hard work was going to help someone who has never heard of the CIP; they would leave knowing about them and a little more information. That was the whole point: having people leave with stories and information. Lessons that I have learned from the project are that you need to use your time wisely. For example, when working on our script we needed a little bit more time but we only had three days till show time. We were on a time crunch, but I do know that if we had more time and and we were able to apply all of our feedback to our script, we would have a stronger script however, I am still proud of the one we came up with.
