#1 Lulu Dark Can See Through Walls by Bennett Madison
The book I read was called "Lulu Dark can see through walls" by Bennett Madison. What I find most interesting about this book "Lulu Dark can see through walls" is how she was able to grow throughout the book and was able to find herself throughout the book. What I mean by this is, just because she was a female detective this did not stop her to do what she wants. What I found most frustrating about this book is that it took forever to get to the point. It seemed like the plot of the book dragged on. I did not find a golden line books because I did not have any that stood out to me. The book I read was "Lulu Dark can see through walls" and I kind of enjoyed alright it but, if you like mystery books that are easy to keep up with you would like this book.
#2 Night by Elie Wiesel
The book I read was Night by Elie Wiesel, which is based on a true story about a young boy who was forced out of is home because him and his family was Jewish. This not only applied to Elie this went for all jews who lived in Germany. The charter I will be analyzing is Elie Wiesel he is a very strong boy, he was a around 8 year old when he was sent to a Nazi German concentration camps at Auschwitz and Buchenwald. Which is where they sent almost all of the Jewish people. Key points form this book is when Elie talks about heading to the concentration camp and right when you walk in you can smell dead bodies and fire lots of fire because all of the bodies they burn because people have died, they are not able work. and just because. When Elie arrives he say “In front of us, those flames. In the air, the smell of burning flesh. It must have been around midnight. We had arrived. In Birkenau.” This just shows you what kind of life Elie will have he went from a place where it was “A sunny spring day, people strolled seemingly care free through the crowded streets. They exchanged cheerful greeting. Children played games, rolling hazelnuts on the sidewalks.” To a dark and sad place whee they will be working until they died. I feel like the book is called Night because, it felt sad and depressing. “Watching rings of black smoke unfurl in the sky, smoke that emanates from the furnaces”. Show you how sad the camp was. Never being able to see a sun rise, hear laughs of people you once new, or see a small smile come from their lifeless faces. I felt very sad and disgusted that people can do this to some one based on what they looked like. believed in, and who they are. Taking away the simple rights of a human being is so wrong in may ways. I think that just because, its over and we don’t have concentration camps people are still haring other just because they believe that it is the right thing to do. We are in a new time where you should be able to do, love, say, and practice whatever you want. I think that no one should be able to take that away from you. All in all I think everyone should read this book it is a book that really opened my eyes to what is going in the world and how I should be more educated.
